In 1990, Jake Stevenson finally completes the time machine he has worked on for years, hoping to meet the greatest inventors in history. But his fiancée, Diane Reddams, accidentally activates the device and is propelled through key moments of mankind’s past.

Despite her skepticism, each jump through time disrupts the timeline and endangers Jake’s ancestors. If they die, Jake will never be born and the machine will cease to exist. As the device slowly begins to erase itself from reality, Diane fights to protect their lineage and find a way back home, guided at times by mysterious messages and a gentleman whose ancestors stir unexpected feelings in her.
