This prequel reveals the dark and mysterious past of Kimino, the little elf with big ears first introduced in “Kinoko Legend”.

Here, we discover how, in a previous life, he was Kardarx: a malevolent creature ruling over the Abyss, an underground world swarming with classic dark fantasy monsters: trolls, orcs… and even the Devil himself.

Each night, Kardarx and his creatures rise to the Surface to spread chaos. Until the day divine beings punish him by granting him remorse. Thenceforth, with every sunrise, Kardarx transforms into “Kimino” and spends his days trying to repair the devastation caused by his nocturnal alter ego.

Exhausted by this double existence, the little elf seeks a way to destroy Kardarx once and for all. But time is running out because, to preserve his reign, Kardarx is searching for a lost descendant: an adolescent girl he must eliminate before her twentieth birthday.  And she could be anywhere… perhaps even among Kimino’s new friends.
